Night Watch at Home

Tonight, your room can become a harbor. A chair might be a cliff. A cushion might be a tiny island. You do not need to move either one: imagination is very good at geography.

Captain Pip needs a crew to guide Inky’s picnic boat through the pretend fog. Together, you will choose a light, a sea, and a bell. Real objects or imaginary ones both work.

Invite a grown-up to join you. Stay together, use things already easy to reach, and keep the real room bright. Nobody needs to climb, go outside, light a candle, or make a loud noise.
